Sabancı University brought together its alumni at an event held in Munich, Germany, on Saturday, April 11, 2026. Approximately 100 alumni attended the event, which took place at Löwenbräukeller, one of Munich's historic venues.
Our President Yusuf Leblebici, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences Erkay Savaş, and Director of Alumni Relations Cenk Bayırlı represented the university administration at the event.
In his presentation, our President informed the alumni about the university's developments, highlighting that Sabancı University achieved the largest single-time rise in Türkiye in the QS 2026 World University Rankings by Subject. Leblebici shared current data on the university's rankings in Türkiye and globally.
The reunion was also attended by a student representing the "Make a Promise for the Future" scholarship program, who shared their success story, goals, and the contributions Sabancı University made to their education with the alumni. Highlighting the importance of the impact each donation can make, our student emphasized the significance of the alumni community's support.
The donations collected during the event covered the monthly cash scholarships of four students. This meaningful gathering, which reinforced the culture of solidarity and contribution within the Sabancı University alumni community, created a powerful platform for sharing among the participants.
